京都に用事があり 週末行ってきました。日帰りでしたが、用事を済ませてから どうにか観光する時間ができました。行きたかった二つの所に行くことができました。
一つは、六波羅蜜寺。日本人なら誰でも歴史の教科書で、みたことがある「空也像」を観に行きました。
この像は、口から阿弥陀如来が出ている珍しい像で 昔の人がこんなに精巧に造り ちょっとかわいらしくもあって 無理して観にいって良かったです。
そして 二つ目は、清水焼を買いに行くことでした。六波羅蜜寺近くの京都陶磁器会館にも是非行ってみたく 京都の暑さの中向かいました。そこには、色々なタイプの清水焼が売っていて 目をつけていたお皿も買うことができました。
六波羅蜜寺と京都陶磁器会館は、清水寺の近くにあり観光客の多さと 暑さに圧倒されましたが 抹茶宇治金時のかき氷も食べることができ 満足の京都日帰り旅行となりました。
I had some business in Kyoto, so I went there over the weekend .
It was a day trip, but after finishing my business, I managed to find some time for
sightseeing. I was able to visit two places I wanted to see.
One was Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple. I went to see the
“Kuuya statue”, which every Japanese person has seen in our history textbooks.
This statue is a rare one which Amida Nyorai emerges from the mouth.
I was impressed by how skillfully it was crafted in the past, and it was a bit cute,
so, I was glad I made the effort to go and see it.
The second was to buy some Kiyomizu-yaki pottery.
I also wanted to visit the Kyoto Ceramic Museum near Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple,
so I headed there despite the heat of Kyoto.
There were various types of Kiyomizu-yaki pottery for sale.
And I was able to purchase the plate I had been eyeing.
Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple and the Kyoto Ceramic Museum are located near Kiyomizu-dera Temple,
and I was overwhelmed by the crowds of tourists and heat.
However, I was able to enjoy Matcha Uji Kintoki shaved ice,
making it a satisfying day trip to Kyoto.
