Yoyogihachiman shrineちのわ　代々木八幡神社

This is a chino ring set up in front of the main shrine. First turn left, then turn right, then turn left for the third time, and then visit the main shrine. It is said that the impurities of half a year will be eliminated by this. It will be installed in June as well at Yoyogi Hachiman Shrine.

It is a way of visiting shrines to foreigners.
①Wash both of your hand.
②Give a small offering.
③Ring a bell.
④Bow twice.
⑤Clap your hands twice and put your hands to pray.
⑥Bow again.
If you have a chance to visit a shrine, please pray according to this method.
これは、本殿前に設置された茅の輪。 最初は左へ回り、次は右へ回り、三度目に左へ回ってから本殿を参拝します。
これで半年のケガレが落ちるのだそうです。 代々木八幡神社では 6月にも設置されるということです。

外国の方々へ、神社での参拝のし方です。
①手を洗い清める。
②お賽銭（さいせん＝お金）を入れる。
③鈴を鳴らす。
④2回礼をする（頭を下げる）。
⑤2回手をたたいてから 手を合わせてお祈りをする。
⑥最後にもう一度おじぎをする。
神社へ参拝に行く機会があれば　この方法に従って　手を合わせてください。
