The JLPT is over.
Thank you to everyone who took the JLPT test on Sunday. I am sure you all have various impressions after the test, but I would like to thank you all for taking the test safely in this hot weather.
There are several students in my Sunny Yoyogi Japanese Class who took the N1 and N2 tests.
I had a lesson with one of them yesterday, and we discussed how to move on to the next level of study.
I told her again that it is better for advanced level students to write and memorize the Japanese at least once. This is because once you pass the JLPT, people around you will look at you differently. If you are good at Japanese and have passed the JLPT, it is natural that you can read Kanji. You can’t make mistakes in simple kanji.
For example,
試験管test tube 🧪 and
試験官examiner are read the same as “しけんかん,” and at a glance, the differences look the same.
But once you write them down, you will be able to see the difference.
So, I advise advanced students to write carefully and study carefully.
日曜日は JLPTのテストでしたが 受験された方々 お疲れ様でした。テストを終えて皆さんには、色々な感想があるかと思いますが この暑い中無事受験されたことは、本当にお疲れ様でした。
私の日本語教室にも N1とN2を受験された方が数名いらっしゃいます。
その中のお一人と早速昨日レッスンが あったのですが 次の段階への勉強の方法を 話し合いました。
そこで、上級レベルの方々には、一度は、しっかり書いて覚えた方がいいと 改めてお伝えしました。というのは、JLPT合格者となれば 周りの方々の見方が変わるからです。日本語が上手だし JLPTも合格しているとなれば、漢字も読めて当然と思われます。簡単な漢字は 間違えられないのです。
例えば 試験管（test tube）🧪と試験官（examiner）は、同じ「しけんかん」と 読みますが この違いは パッと見ただけでは 同じように見えますね。でも一度書いてみると しっかり違いを確認できると思います。
なので上級者は、丁寧に書いて しっかり学習することを アドバイスいたします。
